Lin Hanqin, a painting friend of Haifeng, graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in the early 90s of last century. For more than forty years, he has been absorbed in the art of calligraphy and painting, very diligent, he just wants to get some inspirit from day to day, doesn’t ask make a great coup.
I often recall that in the past few years, I had been frustrated in business, I had been cheated by friends and various kinds of accidents, I was depressed and almost mental breakdown.
For more than a year of my seclusion, maybe brother Hanqin, who had been experiencing a lot of frustrations and compassion, asked me many times, worried about me, and gave me a lot of condolences and encouragement, and when I sometimes needed a suitable paper and brush for painting, very soon I saw that he was holding it for me without a word……In my heart, brother Hanqin really can be described as a "true friend and real men"!
Lin Hanqin, who further studied in Xu Qinsong’s studio of China National Art Academy of Beijing last year, went to Beijing to create "Da Fan Art Gallery" in Songzhuang. Congratulations!
Hanqin's painting skills are profound basic skills, especially fond of the landscape painting, the early face is more realistic and delicate, with the ancient and modern masterpiece marks, the recent works are more hot and bold, between the brush and the paper, but see the trees and stones and strength bones filled with desolate clouds, the operation picture of point, line, surface elements often have strange tricks, make me feel fresh and strange!
The handwriting of brother Hanqin is the same as the landscape tree stone painting method, and the brushwork is strong and aboveboard, and the lines run through the back of the papers, looking back the contemporary Chinese landscape painters’ works, either fickle ink and moist, nor flower fist and leg, it’s all boring.
The Chinese calligraphy and painting are obviously different from those of other art categories, the brush lines are rich in writing, expressive and lyrical. Lin Hanqin is in the middle age, he said that he still has a shortage and still needs to continue to study and explore, but in my opinion, he has the ability to control the brush and ink freely, it’s “admirable skills”!
